How do I sign in, or switch the account my progress is saved to?
SpeakLegends uses Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, so there's no separate password to create or remember — Apple or Google handles it securely.
To switch the account your progress is tied to:
- Open SpeakLegends and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then sign out.
- Sign back in with the Apple ID or Google account you want to use.
Each account keeps its own separate progress. If sign-in fails, check your internet connection and that you're signed in to iCloud (for Apple) on the device.
How do I manage, change, or cancel my subscription?
SpeakLegends Premium is billed by Apple through your App Store account — we never see or store your payment card details.
Manage, change the plan, or cancel any time on your iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → SpeakLegends. Cancelling stops future renewals but keeps Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
My streak or XP looks wrong — how does progress and syncing work?
Your XP, streaks, lessons, and achievements sync to your account and restore automatically when you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device.
A streak counts each day you complete at least one lesson, measured in your device's time zone — so changing time zones or the device clock can affect it.
If your progress looks out of date:
- Confirm you're signed in with the same account as before.
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- Fully close the app and reopen it so it can re-sync.

Which languages can I learn with SpeakLegends?
SpeakLegends teaches its launch set of languages from an English base, turning each course into a quest-driven role-playing adventure.
The up-to-date list of languages and courses is shown right inside the app on the language picker when you start or add a course. We add new languages over time, so check the picker for the latest options.

My lessons won't load — what should I do?
Lesson content is delivered from our servers, so a lesson that won't load is almost always a connection or app-state issue. Try these steps in order:
- Check your internet connection — switch between Wi-Fi and cellular to test.
- Fully close and reopen the app (swipe it away in the app switcher).
- Update to the latest version of SpeakLegends from the App Store.
- Restart your device, then open the app again.
If lessons still won't load after all of that, email support@speaklegends.com with your device model and iOS version and we'll dig in.
How do I delete my account and all of my data?
You can permanently delete your account and its data directly in the app — no email or approval needed:
- Open SpeakLegends and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion is irreversible: your profile, streak, XP, lesson progress, and achievements are permanently erased.
Can't open the app? Email support@speaklegends.com from the address linked to your account and we'll delete it for you. Note that deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription — cancel that separately in the iOS Settings app. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle data.
